After a wet and soggy weekend, the 2017 season is now in the books! Results are now up for for this weekend as well as the unofficial year end points.
Please take a moment to review your points and let us know if you see any errors so we can ensure you get credit for each event you ran. Keep in mind you need to have at least 5 events in your class to be eligible for year end trophies. The unofficial points currently show all members points even if they have less than 5 events, but once I populate the official points, only those with over 5 will be included.

It’s the election time of year and we are seeking great candidates to help run the club. Each year we have the following positions open for election:
2 Trustees (Board Members)
You can learn more about the duties of each in our Club By-Laws http://kyscca.com/…/2014/05/Kentucky-Region-SCCA-By-Laws.pdf
We plan to finalize the ballots and send them out after the next Board Meeting on 9/27/17. That is the deadline to nominate yourself to be added to a ballot. To nominate yourself please send me a message at email@example.com

From Steven Lee:
I attended 13 classes over the two day convention, along side 250+ SCCA members from all over the country (even Hawaii and Alaska!).
I wanted to share my thoughts on this years SCCA National Convention and what I learned and what I set as goals for myself from the discussions I had. It is long, but please read if you can find the time in the day. We all know most of you are reading this in the bathroom anyway.

Due to poor road conditions, the winter weather advisories, and the NWS calling for more snow this evening and temperatures below freezing we are canceling the Membership Meeting scheduled for tonight. I would not feel right asking anyone to drive in what could be dangerous conditions after the sun goes down.
The next general membership meeting will be held at the Banquet on February 4th, and we are looking to schedule the March membership meeting in a location that is convenient for both Louisville and Bowling Green members.
Thank you for your understanding, and everyone be safe.
